Willie Creek Pearl Meat Cook Off – Thursday 7th Sept
Broome’s best chefs will create pearl meat masterpieces that ‘celebrate the spirit of Broome’ as they compete for the cook-off crown. Come and taste their creations, enjoy a drink, live music and entertainment.

• Last Bus to Cable Beach from Dampier Tce (#10)  leaves at 7.05pm (Extra service)
• Last Bus to Town Beach from Carnarvon St (#35)  leaves at 7.03pm

Chinatown Feast – Wednesday 30th Aug
Enjoy an all you can eat array Chinese delicacies with a selection of dumplings, bao, wok noodles boxes and Chinese BBQ delights from 6pm! A cash bar of flowing cocktails, wines, beers and soft drinks will be available all night long as you’re entertained by live music.

• Extra buses leave Carnarvon St #35 at 8.15pm &  8.45pm  $5 fare

Floating Lantern Matsuri – Sunday 2nd Sept
The deeply symbolic Floating Lantern Matsuri event embraces everything about life, love, peace and friendship, providing you with a chance to get your thoughts down in writing and gently send them off onto destinations unknown. Whether your message is personal in memory of a lost loved one, a wish, a prayer or general words of encouragement and happiness for the world – put it on a lantern and watch it commence it’s peaceful, glowing journey on the evening tide.

Free Shuttle:

• Buses depart from Cable Beach (pick up between Divers Tavern & Surf Club Roundabout
  • Every 15min between 3.45 &  4.45pm
• Buses depart from Gantheaume Point /Turf Club carpark:
  • To Cable Beach: between 6.00pm & 8.00pm
  • Catch the regular bus from Cable Beach To Town & Town Beach:  Departs at 6.15 & 6.45pm

LiveLighter Festival Finale – Sunday 4th September

A finale concert to celebrate the end of Shinju Matsuri 2023. This year’s event will take place at Town Beach! Join us for  special performances from locally acclaimed artists. Bring a picnic or sample the delights at the food markets for a magical night under the stars.
